The central theme for SOMA Summer 2012 considers the transformation of labour in artistic practice from the Second World War to the present, reflecting the shift from a manufacture to a service economy.
A site-specific installation Refresco Stand was produced during the residency and presented at Estudio Aperto, alongside works by other SOMA residents.
